This 1982 Porsche 911SC shows 75k miles and is finished in Chiffon White over a brown partial leather interior. Power comes from a 3.0-liter flat-six mated to a 915 transaxle, and factory options include a power sunroof, cruise control, fog lights, and forged alloy wheels. The car is being offered on behalf of the family of the deceased owner, a 356 restorer who acquired this example 17 years ago. The seller is Aaron’s Autowerks of Phoenix, Oregon, where a February 2018 service was performed that included an oil/filter change, new belt, a left camshaft housing oil feed line, an alignment, and a mechanical inspection. The sale includes a clean Carfax report, records dating back to the 1980s, a Porsche CoA, a notebook documenting fuel fill-ups, the original tools, and a clean Oregon title.
The car was selected to represent the year model 1982 at a PCA event, and it was also used during a comparison between old and new 911s during Rennsport Reunion IV in 2011. The seller notes that the car was garaged-kept and used sparingly, which accounts for the relatively low mileage.
The 16” black-centered Fuchs wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around, and the Chiffon White (P2) shows a nice gloss in gallery photos.
The brown partial leather interior remains unmodified with exception of a Sony stereo head unit. The A/C system is not currently functional, though the seller reports that the components are intact. The odometer shows 75k miles.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter flat-six coupled to a 5-speed type 915 manual transaxle. A February 2018 service performed by the seller included included an oil/filter change, new belt, a left camshaft housing oil feed line, an alignment, and a mechanical inspection.
The steering gear skid-plate was replaced with OEM unit, and minor oil seepage is noted around the gearbox. A sizable crease is present on the bottom of the fuel tank.
The Porsche CoA confirms the color and lists the factory options.
Records dating back to the 1980s are included in the sale along with a notebook cataloging several years of fuel fill-ups.
The Carfax report indicates no accident damage, and a cold start video can be seen below.
