This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe shows just 22,450 miles and was purchased new from Fathers & Sons Porsche in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Boxster Red special leather interior, the car was optioned from the factory with the Digital Sound Package, traction control with ABD, 18″ Turbo look alloy wheels with colored center caps, an on-board computer, Boxster Red floor mats, metal door sill plates, and an AM/FM radio with a CD player. It was acquired by the seller through Copley Motorcars of Needham, Massachusetts in January 2017 and has since been driven approximately 2,500 miles. The 3.4-liter flat-six is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission and was fitted with an LN Engineering IMS bearing in 2014. This 996 is offered with service records from new, the window sticker, factory manuals, two keys, original dealer hang tags, sales documents, a clear Carfax, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and reportedly shows no evidence of prior repairs. A few scrapes under the front bumper are noted, and numerous close-ups of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery below. This 996 has reportedly been kept in a climate-controlled garage from new.
18″ Turbo look wheels were optioned when new and wear colored center caps. Standard equipment includes four-piston fixed alloy calipers, vented and perforated brake rotors, a sliding and tilting sunroof, ABS, and more.
Boxster Red special leather upholstery was specified by the original owner and covers the seats, door panels, dashboard, instrument binnacle, rear shelf, and more.
Early 996 models feature a few distinct touches, including a 993-style four-spoke steering wheel along with cable-operated releases for the hood and decklid, no glovebox, and a cable-operated throttle. All features work well according to the seller.
Currently, the digital odometer shows just 22,450 miles, which is correct based on complete service records and the Carfax.
The 3.4-liter flat-six was fitted with an LN Engineering IMS bearing by Porsche of Nashua in 2014, and a receipt for the work is included in the gallery below. The other mechanicals are stock to the seller’s knowledge, including the 6-speed manual gearbox. In 2017 the car received a basic service including an engine oil/filter change and new tires.
Service records date back to when the car was new, and additional pictures are included in the gallery.
This 996 is being sold with its original purchase documentation and the factory window sticker, which shows a total MSRP of $75,150 after all options and destination charges.
The accident-free Carfax shows two previous owners with registration in Massachusetts from new. Consistent odometer readings and three service history records are also included.
